Why Division 27

Division 27, formerly known as Kendra IT, was rebranded in 2024. The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) publishes the MasterFormat, which is the standard that is used most often for formatting construction specifications on blueprints or other construction references. MasterFormat was first released in 1975 and in 2004 was revisied. There are 50 Divisions where Division 04 is Masonary, Division 05 is Metals, Division 22 is Plumbing, Division 26 is Electrical, and Division 27 is Communications.
